I would like to correct two errors in Gov. Herbert's comments about other states' refusal to defend same-sex marriage bans. He is correct that this issue revolves around some lifestyle choices, but he's confused about what those are.
So allow me to clarify: being gay is a matter of birth; being a bigot and wasting taxpayers' money is a lifestyle choice.
