Now that federal courts in Oregon and Pennsylvania have struck state laws banning same-sex marriage this week, it is time to give due praise to our own Judge Shelby, whose opinion has been peer reviewed by at least 12 federal judges and none have found it wanting.
It seems that public officials who excoriated Judge Shelby, including our governor, should begin writing their letters of apology. Apparently our "renegade" and "runaway" judge has the entire federal bench supporting his rejection of the state denying constitutional rights of people who just want to get married and live in nuptial bliss.
