My faith in my fellow human beings increases with each reading of the forum letters regarding Cliven Bundy. This man is stealing from all of us. Society's rules don't apply to him. Armed confrontation after you have broken the law has no place in a civilized society. This guy needs to be arrested just like any other criminal.
After that said, the most disturbing issue is the "armed body guards" following him around and one of them wearing a "MARINE" hat. My husband is a proud Marine and would never stoop so low as to take up arms against his fellow Americans, especially in support of a criminal who is breaking the law. A Marine would never denounce America, say our government doesn't exist, let alone support a racist as vile as Mr. Bundy.
Has this Marine been in a war zone in another country and understands how great it is to live in a country like ours? Who is this Marine and has he forgotten what it means to be "the Few, the Proud, the Marines"?
