The Los Angeles Angels have a huge fan base in Salt Lake because we follow the AAA players who pass through Salt Lake. We want to see Angels box scores. We're statistics junkies. What we receive half the time is a one-liner on the baseball page: "Detroit at L.A. Angels, late." Never another word.
Disrespectful, out-of-tune, lazy?
Solution: Provide the Angel home night game box scores a day late. Don't just eliminate them. Your baseball fans will look at you with more respect. Wouldn't hurt to make one last proofread before going to press. More times than normally acceptable, box scores are for different teams than teams in the lead article.
