There has been another challenge by women to gain some say in Mormon rule-making meetings.

It reminds me of 1978, when Mormons decided they had been wrong concerning dark-skinned people being "cursed" by God. Of course, they then had to change the wording in the Book of Mormon. Before 1978 it read something like, if they lived a righteous life they could hope someday to become a white and delightsome person. The book now reads "pure and delightsome person."

Two Mormon intellectual women at the time said that means they could hope someday to become "a male and delightsome person."
