Letter: KUED shows junk during pledge drives
First Published Mar 25 2014 01:01 am • Last Updated Mar 25 2014 01:01 am

I never thought I’d write a letter in which I criticize KUED; however, I feel compelled to do so now.

I’m joining the ranks of those who are wondering why in the world we’re being subjected to such programs as ‘Utah’s World War II Stories," "Yoga with Peggy Cappy," "Suze Orman," "Utah in the ‘40s or ‘50s," "How to Lower Your Blood Sugar," etc. etc.

Each time there’s a pledge drive, we must watch these programs over and over again. Surely there are programs somewhere out there for viewers to watch.

I’ve been a sustaining member of KUED for many years and I’ll continue to be one. I also give extra money for each drive. I grew up during World War II and the ‘40s and I don’t need to relive these years now.
