Letter: Turn down music, turn off TVs in restaurants
First Published Mar 19 2014 01:01 am • Last Updated Mar 19 2014 05:56 am
Are there any restaurants or pubs out there that would dare turn off the music and take down the wide screens so that we may learn again how to communicate with each other at our tables or next to us? Or to simply enjoy the act of eating, tasting and digesting our food without getting the jitters and feeling the need to hurry up and leave?
Ever been to Europe to see and hear the difference?
