It has been a real bad winter for many Americans, especially those in the Midwest and East. We all know, or should know, that it will be worse in years to come.
Every winter many citizens are suffering due to the lack of power and heat in their houses. Every winter power lines go down and every winter we spend many millions of dollars to repair those lines.
Our nation also suffers from drought in some areas and flooding in others, costing the taxpayers many millions in subsidies and thereafter in the grocery stores.
Why not create jobs for many Americans by burying our power lines so that wind and snow cannot cause havoc? Why not build pipelines to carry water where it is needed from where there is too much?
I realize it sounds easy and would be hard and cost billions. We have many years in our future and many who could benefit through jobs. It took many, many years to build a freeway system, but we got it!
