There is a pothole in the northbound lane of 2300 East at approximately 3250 South, and no one is doing anything about it. The speed limit on that road is 35 mph, and when a vehicle hits the hole at that speed, damage is done to the vehicle.
Planning committees have spent months planning a roundabout for the entrance to I-80 and 2300 East that could conceivably be a hindrance to automobile drivers. Another committee spent months planning a water "improvement" project in that area that was funded (at least in part) by the residents, and did not seem to improve their water pressure a great amount.
And for all the planning, they can't seem to come up with a plan for fixing a single little pothole that is damaging people's vehicles, and for which (theoretically) there should be ample tax revenue.
It makes me wonder if the pothole is an opening to a bottomless pit.
