If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.
That is what Utah legislators are doing to relocate the Draper prison. How many surveys do they need to prove that it is not cost-effective to move the prison?
They seem to keep moving the monies around till they make it look good. They are not thinking about the taxpayers, but only how much money they can put in their pockets.
There is plenty of land there to just expand the prison one building at a time until all buildings are up-to-date. Moving it will hurt a lot of volunteers, workers and visitors.
My dad would always say that once you set your mind to get a new car, for example, you can find all kinds of things wrong with the old one. That’s what is happening here.
