Letter: Maybe creationists building ark believe in global warming
First Published Mar 04 2014 01:01 am • Last Updated Mar 04 2014 01:33 pm

I read with interest the article about the Answers in Genesis Christian Ministry in Kentucky getting a municipal bond to help construct a replica of Noah’s Ark, and how they received publicity for their project after a debate about evolution with "Science Guy" Bill Nye ("Bill Nye defends evolution in Kentucky debate," Tribune, Feb. 4).

Perhaps, on the subject of global warming and the resulting rise of today’s oceans, they privately agree with Mr. Nye and are preparing for the worst!

My only suggestion to them would be to build their ark a little closer to the coast than Cincinnati, unless they know something that we don’t!
