Re "Herbert: Medicaid plan is illogical," Tribune, Feb. 20:
Kudos to Gov. Gary Herbert. Contrary to the views of GOP House Speaker Becky Lockhart and her minions in the Utah Legislature who think otherwise, at least Gov. Herbert knows that no matter how or who blesses them, $35 million from Utah taxpayers can never, ever come close to being equal to $524 million from federal taxpayers (including Utahns) when it comes to paying for needed health care.
