Paul Krugman, once again, characterizes conservatives as being mean-spirited and uncaring ("Unemployment policy softheaded, hardhearted," Opinion, Feb. 10). Doesn’t he think his rhetoric is getting just a bit tired?
Conservatives are just as concerned about the underprivileged. Probably more so.
If you think about it a moment, doesn’t it make sense to address the fraud, waste and corruption that already exist in Medicare and Social Security?
Doesn’t he think we should correct those problems before we create another program sure to be filled with same kinds of problems? Just askin’.
