At first I read about Judy Cox's stunt to buy 19 suggestive T-shirts from PacSun and thought she was just another self-righteous busybody who wants everyone to adhere to her version of morality ("Upset Utah mom buys all 'indecent' PacSun shirts," Tribune, Feb. 18).

But then I read further about how she intends to return the shirts to PacSun. That turns her from a harmless busybody into a criminal. Like Tim DeChristopher who received 21 months in prison for attempting to bid and tie up government land with no intent of paying, Cox intends to tie up this private business' merchandise for 60 days with no intent of paying for it.

If she attempts to return the T-shirts, she should be arrested for fraud … or she can just give the shirts to her son to wear.
