Letter: Miller Group not fighting Red Zone stores
First Published Feb 06 2014 01:01 am • Last Updated Feb 06 2014 01:01 am

In response to Sean Harlow’s letter regarding the article titled "University of Utah to close Red Zone stores dinged in audit" (Feb. 4), neither the Miller family, nor the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies, nor Fanzz sports apparel stores, at any time, asked for an audit or tried to influence any decision surrounding Red Zone stores.

In fact, the Miller family continually supports the University of Utah and its endeavors. They have made sizable donations to Rice Eccles Stadium, the Hinckley Institute of Politics, and University of Utah Health Care.

They have also provided hundreds of full-ride scholarships to students in need.
