If the state would make all counties emissions-compliant, it would sure help reduce pollution.
What sense does it make to force the people of Salt Lake County to spend their hard-earned money to keep their vehicles emissions-compliant when the people in Tooele County don't have to, yet 80 percent of the people in Tooele County work in Salt Lake County? So while we have to comply they just drive their pollution-belching vehicles all over Salt Lake County.
Let's be fair about this. Just a thought, Governor.
