Utah's political system is sicker than an asthmatic child playing outdoors on a "red-air" day. To make Utah truly a democracy, the Count My Vote initiative must succeed. Campaigning for it helps us all more than does, for example, attending a "clean up my air" rally.

LDS leaders have wisely warned of the dangers of a GOP-dominated state. But the GOP has consistently ignored that warning.

Our political health is more crucial to our future well-being than is our physical health. I hope our government leaders will "wise up."
