OK, this I don't understand, and apparently neither does Travis W. Jones ("Florists, jewelers can't keep up; 'traditionals' suffering," Forum, Dec 28): How does allowing gay marriage destroy "traditional marriage"?

Maybe the feeling is similar to saying that allowing people in blue sweaters to have a driver license will lower sales of Ford F150s. No logic anywhere on this, as near as I can tell. No, "traditional marriage" is not in jeopardy; however, prejudice, fear and hate are.
