Letter: Gov. Olene Walker pushed out by GOP system

Remember Gov. Olene Walker, 2003-2005, a great Republican political leader? She became a victim of the political rite­ of passage.

The good ol' boys pushed her out of the GOP state convention to allow the male to take the lead.

Gov. Walker could have been ­elected with much support from the Democrats.

Count My Vote, please.
