So help me understand this, supporters of a ban on same-sex marriages believe that their reasoning for doing so is because a same-sex couple is not able to procreate.

I have two adopted daughters that I love just as much as any child I could have conceived on my own. I also am unable to procreate due to infertility issues. Do I have to assume that these same people also believe there should be a ban on my ability to marry and my marriage recognized as a legal union?

It seems these types of people always use these ridiculous kinds of arguments to justified their prejudiced attitudes and they will always try to find a way to exclude someone from having equal rights with them simply because they do not agree with how that person chooses to live. The Constitution says we are all created equal and you cannot change that fact. I also truly believe that a loving God also believes the same thing.
