Are you worth the wage your employer pays you, especially if health insurance is included?
I ask this question because I hear a never-ending commentary from the super right wing conservatives about "moochers" who can’t be bothered to find a job, "moochers" who can’t be bothered to provide for their families, "moochers" who can’t be bothered to pay their bills.
I find this rather ironic, as I observe many of those whiners who are employed and constantly ripping off their employers. There’s this thing called "theft of time": when they roll in to work late, when they take an extra 30 minutes on their lunch break, when they take care of personal business incessantly on company time, when they vanish for hours at a time while "working in the field," when they shoot the breeze for 45 minutes every morning.
I could provide plenty of other examples (stealing coffee, soft drinks, toilet paper, printer paper, pens, markers, industrial rugs, tools, etc.) but I think you get the gist. If you are someone who boobs and moans about the "moocher" element who hate radio keeps telling you to revile, take a look in the mirror.
