Please stop blaming President Obama for the problems with the ACA website. He's not a programmer. The ACA software was created by outside companies and programmers were harried and pressured to deliver the software without fully testing it. (Huffington Post) They also had to interact with many other agencies and companies for this to work right.

Almost all insurance companies change their policies yearly and many of those $50/month policies didn't really cover anything important and had outrageous deductibles. The president wanted to build a system that covered everyone regardless of previous health issues so nearly all factors of health care to be included.

That costs more than low-rate policies, but in the long haul helps everyone who lives in this country.

Social Security and Medicare were not a success overnight. They took years, in the case of SSA decades, to really be appreciated. If Medicare had been expanded to include everyone we wouldn't have this mess.

But the mention of "single payer" sent the GOP and tea party into seizures. Taking care of your fellow man isn't socialism, it's Christian charity.
