Letter: What if Swallow were not Republican, Mormon?

Joy and Richard Davis ("Would Trib have been so thorough if Swallow had been Dem, non-Mormon?", Forum, Dec. 3) wonder what the Tribune would be writing had former Attorney General John Swallow not been a Republican or a Mormon.

The more important question is what tune, as voters, would they be singing if Swallow had not been a Republican or a Mormon?

Would they be so defensive of his many unacceptable actions then?
