In response to "Trib print subscribers treated as second-class," Forum, Nov. 16, we totally agree. We have subscribed to the Salt Lake Tribune for years and currently are getting the Friday-through-Sunday delivery. Since starting this subscription this fall, our paper has failed to be delivered four times, mostly on Fridays.

This past Friday I called to again report this, and as usual, I was routed to a speaker whose accent I could barely understand. I was told that the paper would still be delivered.

Two hours later and no paper, I called again and asked for a supervisor. He told me that I had called within the same-day-delivery period and that we would still receive the paper that day. No paper ever came.

Since this has been a recurring problem, I also asked to speak to a local supervisor. Four days later, I have not heard from anyone.

It is no wonder that printed newspapers are becoming extinct. With this kind of poor service, they can expect to get fewer and fewer customers. We are very disappointed in the Salt Lake Tribune customer service.
