Letter: Why did Bagley disparage Texas when Utah is worse?
This is an archived article that was published on sltrib.com in 2013, and information in the article may be outdated. It is provided only for personal research purposes and may not be reprinted.

Bagley's cartoon disparaging Texas in the Nov. 21 Trib is merely another example of the poor man's possibly emotionally deficient childhood.

I lived in Dallas for two years. Exciting city, great people, many magnificent facilities. I would suggest to the liberal penmanship of Bagley another cartoon depicting the following: "Welcome to Utah; Other religions beware; Birth control discouraged; Sufficient funding for education prohibited; Don't let them see you drink."

The reasoning behind his insult to Texas still confounds me. But then, none of his presentations ever seem more than catatonic liberalism.
