Letter: If media ignored mass killers, they would stop

Why is it that the "media" can't or won't recognize that their reporting about mass killers is exactly what they want?

Violence should no longer be newsworthy. The "media" — television, newspapers and the Internet — all create a place for these killers to get their notoriety. The amazing thing is the "media" do not get it!
