My hat's off to the state of Utah and the online system for driver license renewal! I was required to renew my license in person this year and had been dreading it because of all the horror stories of people spending hours in long lines.
But after visiting http://www.driverlicense.utah.gov and following the instructions to complete my application and schedule an appointment online, I was very pleasantly surprised. I was literally moved to the front of the line at the Driver License Division, and my visit took fewer than 10 minutes.
While not every driver will qualify for an online appointment, I would encourage anyone who meets the criteria to use the system. It really does work!
