I read Briawna Anderson's letter today about her canned response from Rep. Jason Chaffetz' office in regard to her concern about the recent government shutdown ("Constituent gets regrets only from Rep. Jason Chaffetz," Forum, Oct. 22).

At least she got a response; I'm still waiting for mine to a letter I sent long before the shutdown.

I attended a Holladay town hall meeting with Chaffetz on August 21, where he said he would "repeal and replace Obamacare." I sent an email to his office website two days later asking what he planned to replace it with other than a return to unregulated private insurers.

Although this was well before he closed his Cottonwood office, I have still had no response on his plans or ideas for health care for American citizens if he has any.

Like Ms. Anderson, I will remember when the next congressional election comes.
