My daughter and son-in-law moved to the Fruit Heights/Kaysville/Farmington area approximately three years ago and I have rarely seen a clear day upon my visits to the area. Such beautiful mountain ranges and scenery are contaminated with the very visible air pollution. It is a serious concern for health too.
Just yesterday morning we were all bothered by headaches, and when going outside we all noticed a very strong chemical gas odor. My nasal sinuses had been affected in some way, as I had bloody discharges. We were not the only people who noticed this, as Questar Gas had been receiving many calls in the area. (They found no natural gas causing the odor.)
Later in the day through social media, we found out that two emergency bypasses from nearby refineries may have been the source of foul odor.
This is frightening and I think all citizens in this area should be very concerned and take an active role in this serious problem.
God only knows the damage that has been done and continues to be done by your very poor air emissions standards and/or enforcement. Be worried!!
