Regarding "Amid Stericycle outcry, University of Utah Hospitals rethink waste," Tribune, Oct. 16: As the father of a pediatric cancer survivor I want to send my heartfelt thanks to the University Hospitals for stepping up to the plate and addressing community concerns.
Additionally, I would like to thank our county commissioners for their unanimous vote to send a letter to the Guv asking him to consider ordering the cessation of harmful emissions from Stericycle ("Salt Lake County debates Davis County waste plant," Tribune, Sept. 25)
