It's pretty sad when you call Salt Lake County Animal Services to get some information on having a loved pet euthanized because of bad health and are put on hold for 30 minutes before even speaking to a live person. It happened to me.

I got someone who couldn't even answer the question, so she transferred the call to someone else who just happened to be away from the desk. At her recorded request I left a short message; she promised to return my call. Well six hours later, I still have no response.

It's a sad state of affairs we live in as taxpayers.
