Does Rep. Jason Chaffetz believe that we should be impressed with his announcement that he is asking that his paycheck be held until the government is up and running ("Chaffetz: Hold My Paycheck")?

Rather than merely delaying receipt of his pay, I propose that he and other radical Republicans intent on shutting down the government unless they get their way donate these dollars to the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program so that the neediest mothers and their children will have access to critically needed food.

We are measured as a country and as a people by how well we treat our neediest citizens! The behavior of these radical Republicans is causing tragic consequences for many families. All of our Utah congressmen are an embarrassment to its citizens.
