Utah Ag Gag law lets animal abuse continue
This is an archived article that was published on sltrib.com in 2013, and information in the article may be outdated. It is provided only for personal research purposes and may not be reprinted.

In Idaho someone shot video of dairy workers mistreating cows. The result? "State schools are teaming up with the the industry to offer classes on how to handle animals" ("Idaho kids learn cow etiquette after abuse video," Sept. 23).

Now just think what would have happened had that occurred here in Utah. The person shooting the video would have been arrested under Utah's Ag Gag law and the abuse would continue.
