Pope Francis said, "The most important thing is the first proclamation: Jesus Christ has saved you. And the ministers of the church must be ministers of mercy above all." The Pope has opened the arms of the church in love to those seeking healing.

The LDS Church now wants to fight in Hawaii against gay marriage. I ask, where is the "tradition of compassion" and the underlying core of concern of "how we treat each other as children of God"?
