Re "Bell to step down" (Tribune, Sept. 17), Lt. Gov. Greg Bell is stepping down because he's not making enough money to finance his retirement. He makes $105,000 a year.

Are you kidding me? There is something seriously wrong here. I would love to make that amount per year, as I'm sure many people would.

Maybe Bell can get a job working for the Utah Attorney General's Office, which I'm sure has endless possibilities for income enhancement.
