Much to like

Ed Firmage Jr. writes that he finds it easy to like Jesus ("Jesus easy to like," Forum, Sept. 3), although Firmage is an atheist. "I like that," he wrote of several of Jesus's acts.

Firmage may want to read "Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth," currently second on The New York Times nonfiction bestseller list. The author is a Muslim, Reza Aslan.

I like that.
