U.S. of Marxism
This is an archived article that was published on sltrib.com in 2013, and information in the article may be outdated. It is provided only for personal research purposes and may not be reprinted.

President Obama and the Democrats have declared war on the family, religion and business. These are in the way of Obama's fundamental transformation of America into a Marxist state. For a Marxist and statist like Obama, the family, religion and private property are obstacles to his power and control of people, and therefore, they must be eliminated.

The weapons being used against the family are the demonization of husbands and fathers along with single mom victimhood and dependence on the state. The weapons being used against religion are contraception, abortion, homosexuality, gay marriage and Islam. There is a certain amount of crossover between the weapons being used against the family and religion.

A religion that either volunteers or is forced by government to accept these things is signing its own death warrant. A fundamental moral principle of Christianity, for example, is the sacredness and protection of life. Without this, Christianity disintegrates.

Business, capitalism, is the essence of individual freedom. Taxes and regulations (Obamacare) are being used as weapons against both private property and free enterprise. If the statists succeed in destroying the family, religion and business, we become prisoners of the state.
