Re Brian Maffly's article on leases in the San Rafael ("BLM puts San Rafael Swell areas on auction block," Tribune, Aug. 20): I have one question. Where is Tim DeChristopher when we need him?

I know, he's in an Ivy League divinity school. One can only hope that his prayers carry more weight now than his "lack of remorse" did with Judge Dee Benson.
