In the field of political neurology, an interesting book came out that may explain why T.G. "Bud" Mahas believes the way he does ("EPA's hypnosis," Forum, Aug. 14). It is titled "The Republican Brain: The Science of Why They Deny Science — and Reality." The author is Chris Mooney.
