Re Sheena McFarland's article "Dems: GOP official out of line," Page B1, Aug. 13, Tribune: I certainly have to agree with the headline. Salt Lake County Republican Chairman Chad Bennion and his absurd comments about Sim Gill have no place among rational citizens.
Bennion evidently is perceiving this to be a political issue. Well, fine, if that's the way he wants to play it, there's another way to view this. His comments just may be the best thing in the Democrats' tool bag for re-electing Sim Gill. Yes, please, keep the comments coming, because, as reasonable individuals read them, they are only launching Sim Gill all the quicker into another term as district attorney.
