Some can't afford it

The recent Public Forum letter from Frederick Anderson ("Replace Obamacare," August 2) shows a typical attitude of "I've got mine and to h... with everyone else."

Mr. Anderson wants to replace the so-called "Obamacare" with care by the "private sector!" It is obvious that Mr. Anderson never has lost his job and was forced to buy COBRA coverage due to a family member's health problem.

Mr. Anderson never knew a couple where both work, sometimes more than one job, and still barely survive, let alone buy expensive private sector insurance. Even if they were allowed because they had no "pre-existing" condition.

I am glad that Mr. Anderson is able to afford health care but I am also glad that, thanks to "Obamacare," others can have a chance for health care.
