Would someone please tell me who that little tin pot, would-be dictator Mike Lee, aka our (very) junior senator from Utah, thinks he is that the whole country must tow his line or he'll throw another hissy fit ("Mike Lee threatens to shut down government over Obamacare," Tribune, July 22)?

Thirty-nine unsuccessful votes to overturn Obamacare are somehow insufficiently instructive?

This supposed constitutional expert stubbornly rejects a basic democratic principle by insisting that the minority rule if the majority view does not agree with his own. Majorities are inconsequential when they go against the will of Mikey Almighty.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker John Boehner must rub their hands together at the obstructionist possibilities and say, like the old cereal commercial, "Get Mikey! He hates everything!"

Lee behaves like the mean little kid in grade school who "does not play well with others," the petulant child who insists everything be his way or he'll take his ball and go home.

If only he would go home and leave government to the grownups! If any are left in Washington.
