The Tribune has spilled a lot of ink covering the matter with Utah Attorney General John Swallow, which is probably justified.

But I wish it had done similar coverage regarding the scandals in the administration of President Barack Obama, including: the inadequate response to the attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya; the IRS overreach in targeting applications for nonprofit status by conservative organizations; the Justice Department's probes of journalists; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' botched Operation Fast and Furious gunwalking program; the half-billion-dollar taxpayer support of the now-bankrupt solar-cell manufacturer Solyndra.

Your insouciance regarding Obama and others in his administration has been duly noted by those of us who have been paying attention and who don't rely strictly on The Tribune for our news.

I hope that someday you people will have to answer for your negligence. I hope the country can survive until that day arrives.
