I agree with Connor Boyack in "Neither Stewart nor Francom had to die" (Opinion, June 1) about the death of Mathew Stewart. There is something wrong in Weber County.
There is something wrong when a group of people (actually police) dressed in black break down the door of a private home in the middle of the night when there is no threat of danger or physical violence to anyone, except the danger created by the men in black.
And what was their motivation? A couple of marijuana plants? It sounds like the police turned a private residence into a training exercise, rather than provide a real service to the people of the county.
There are too many Rambos up there and not enough Columbos.
