In "Scout campfire" (Forum, May 17), Rick Munukka reported on Scout troops from Herriman and Orem breaking camp and leaving their fires burning.

If I had a son, I would rather that he be led by a gay Scout leader who is responsible enough to follow the basic outdoor, and Boy Scout, rule of making sure your fire is out dead out before you leave it than by a straight "leader" who cannot even grasp and teach that basic rule.
