I agree with Micki Moulton that the circumstances surrounding Dr. Kermit Gosnell and his abortion clinic are sickening ("Use birth control," Forum, May 21). However, her putting responsibility also on "the mothers of these murdered babies" invites a rewriting of her letter for fathers:
Why are the fathers of these murdered babies never mentioned? Are they not complicit in this? Did none of them know their babies were born alive? No first-degree murder charge for fathers? If you do not want children, but you do want sex, take your lazy irresponsible butt to the drugstore to buy birth control. If you're too lame to do it for yourself, buy protection for the "girlfriend" and make her use it.
For if I understand this whole human pregnancy thing correctly, natural insemination involves a male counterpart.
