Down Mexico way

In response to Ken Zenger's blatant attempt to make fun of legal, gun-loving Americans in "A gun-toting people" (Forum, April 21), I suggest he take his family on vacation down to the border towns in Mexico. There it is illegal to bear a gun outside your home (except for law enforcement), so only the drug cartels and other criminals have guns, and tens of thousands of innocent men, women, and children have been slaughtered.

Zenger definitely would then have a different point of view about owning a gun.
