I wonder if any of the people in Boston who were ordered to cower in fear inside their homes while authorities searched for the Boston Marathon bombers ever thought: I wish I had something to defend myself with in case one of those gun-toting terrorists comes through my door.

We all have fire insurance and hope we never have to use it, but it's nice to have it when you need it.
