Is there nothing more important than the Second Amendment? Really? Or is it possible that we have a proverbial tempest in a teapot brewing here?

The current fervor of the gun-rights-über-alles gang is diverting attention from the important issues of the day. I call on Congress to get on with the business of the people.

Legislation aimed at ensuring a living-wage job and equal rights for all would be a good start.
