The Tribune's April 10 presentation of Sen. Mike Lee as a major threat to President Barack Obama with a splashy, front-page headline, "Gun laws: Obama vs. Lee," is surely more than Lee deserves. As a small man, frantic to be noticed, Lee certainly doesn't constitute a genuine threat to Obama in this or any other way.
Lee is just that cranky guy from Utah who opposes everything. This glorification of his influence is inappropriate.
